Award Winner in the Additive Manufacturing category.

MM Machine Market honored outstanding industrial innovations with the Best of Industry Award. The award was presented to the best of the best in the industry at a festive gala event at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg.

 

 

PIC Award Nominee (Integrated Photonics)
The Photonics Integrated Circuit (PIC) International Awards recognize and highlight key industry achievements in advancing photonic integration through platform development, manufacturing, design, packaging and device characterization.

 

Prism Award Finalist (Additive Manufacturing)
Multiphoton Optics' was nominated for the "high-perfor­mance high-precision 3D printing equipment platform LithoProf3D, which is especially suited for a broad variety of structuring jobs to enable scalability for products in different markets. Arbitrary three-dimensional (3D) structures can be fast and reliably fabricated on demand within a volume of a material, on a surface of a material, on top or between already existing structures or components."

 

Fraunhofer Founders Award

Award Winner for outstanding achievements in entrepreneurial and technological development.

Fraunhofer Venture and the High-tech Gründerfonds awarded this price to Multiphoton Optics for their outstanding developments in the field of 3D printing and their growth as a company. The award was given to Multiphoton Optics on February 21, 2017.

Finalist in the Querdenker Award (Innovation)
The Querdenker-Award recognizes companies and founders, who create new impulses in their markets with their inspiring business ideas. The award is given out by the Querdenker-Club, an idea community consisting of 320.000 innovative and creative decision makers.

 

Prism Award Finalist (Additive Manufacturing)
The Prism Awards were developed to recognize innovative products that are newly available on the open market. Each category is meant to isolate a specific contribution in photonics, in a technology area or sector of the industry.

Cowin Award for Entrepreneurship
Markus Riester and Ruth Houbertz have received the COWIN Entrepreneurship Award for Outstanding Contribution to innovation in ICT Hardware and Smart Systems.

 

 

 

Green Photonics Award
As part of the SPIE conference at the Photonics West 2013, the international industry meeting of the optics and photonics community, Ruth Houbertz, Sönke Steenhusen, and their team were honored with the Green Photonics Award in the field of optical communication. The price is awarded to outstanding research papers in four categories, including "optical communications".

Joseph von Fraunhofer Award
Dr. Ruth Houbertz was honored as a member of Fraunhofer-Institute for Silicate Research for finding a practical solution to directly attach waveguides to pre-assembled components and integrate this into the production process of circuit boards.
